With the chill in the air, our December Pattern of the Month is Snowflakes!

In collaboration with National Geographic, Mottahedeh has recently release the new pattern called "SNOWFLAKE"!

Imagine a candlelight dinner, a holiday gathering or an after snowman outing with a hot cup of cocoa. National Geographic's photo archive is the inspiration for this delicate design. Each actual snowflake was originally hand painted in icy tones of blue and silver.

Blue and white is always in style. The Pattern of Month this month is Mottahedeh's Imperial Blue.

Since the Ming Dynasty, imperial blue and white porcelains have been prized by collectors and connoisseurs around the world. Edged in 22k gold, this underglazed blue dinner service is based on a Chinese export porcelain pattern, ca. 1730. The elegant design features a central flowered medalion, continuous collar and floral sprays.

Our ever popular Tobacco Leaf is the Pattern of the Month this month! With over 40 pieces that we currently sell, it's one of our most sought out designs and what Mottahedeh is truly known for.

This extravagant design was originally made in China, probably for export to the Portuguese and Brazilian markets. Of all the 18th - century dinnerware patterns, this was the most highly prized.
